June 16/17th 2001 - Lister petter North Nibley show:- Regrettably due to foot and mouth in the surrounding area,  the rally has been cancelled. All auto-truck exhibitors who attended in 2000 should receive a entry form about Jan/Feb 2002 for next year's event. New exibitors can obtain entry forms by contacting section/rally organisers at  philipfaulkner@cashes.fsnet.co.uk/ WYTCHARD@lister-petter-rally.fsnet.co.uk.

Following the cancellation of the North Nibley rally, an alternative 'Auto-Truck only' get together was organised at the White Lion Inn, Cambridge, over the same weekend. The White Lion is due to re-open in early June, following refurbishment by the new owners.  Free camping on site from Friday to Sunday is available, please contact philipfaulkner@cashes.fsnet.co.uk !

The highlight of the weekend should be a road run of up to 12 Auto-Trucks to the Lister-Petter Works entrance and Dursley Town centre. The run is due to commence at approx. 14:00 on Saturday, returning to the White Lion around 17:00. We hope to park up outside the works for a while, and subject to permission from the local authorities, stop in the town car park for an hour or so. The local media have been informed, hopefully there should be some coverage in the local papers and radio.

If you have not visited the WEB site recently, it has expanded over the last 6 months with additional sections including:- truck listings, rally reports and Rail-Trucks.

I would be pleased to add your truck's the details to the 'truck-lists' section, and any others you have details of. Please Email me with info and pictures.

I hope you can make the White Lion and I look forward to seeing you there!

Current location - Home sweet home.

It was at an auto-truck enthusiasts meeting held at the White Lion Inn, Cambridge, Gloucestershire October last year, that the idea of the challenge was born. Trevor was accompanied from Cambridge by a couple more enthusiasts driving Autotrucks, for the first few miles on Friday morning's journey. The Dursley Gazette covered the event.
